Founded by internationally respected high jump coach Jonathan Greyvenstein**, the academy is committed to developing South Africa's next generation of high jump talent through world-class coaching, structured athlete development, and a genuine passion for the sport.
A Legacy of Excellence
Jonathan Greyvenstein is best known for coaching **Jacques Freitag** during the defining years that saw him become the 2003 World Champion. Under Jonathan's guidance, Jacques became one of the few athletes in history to win World Championship titles at **Youth, Junior, and Senior level**, while setting African records and establishing South Africa as a global force in high jump.
Today, Jonathan brings decades of coaching knowledge and experience into an academy with one clear purpose:
To develop future national, continental, and world champions while making elite high jump coaching accessible to every aspiring athlete.

Creating Opportunities Beyond the Runway
Through years of experience, Coach Jonathan has identified a significant challenge facing South African athletes: many talented competitors miss international competitions simply because of a lack of funding.
The academy is actively working to change this by:

Giving Every Child a Chance
Giving back is at the heart of everything we do.
Through our Non-Profit Organization (NPO), we identify talented young athletes from disadvantaged communities who lack access to professional coaching, equipment, or financial support.
Our NPO provides:
